Historical Connection

Bassets acre , was built by Lord de Dunstanville Basset cirrca 1727
for his Son John, he once owned much of Cornwall and had hie own army.
Captain Henry owned Bassets acre in about 1870 and owned most of the shipping from Portreath .

NEARLY 200 YEARS OLD NOW THE HOUSE HAS SEEN MANY ALTERATIONS AND EXTENSIONS
WHICH GIVES IT ITS CHARM AND MAKES IT UNIQUE WITH ITS 3FT THICK WALLS,
